Bronze Sculpture of Pieta 52 cm for OUTDOORS.
La Pieta Sculpture is a quality piece created by an Italian artistic foundry known and recognized in the funeral product sector.The technique of processing this work, depicting an adaptation of the Vatican Pietà, is the traditional one of sand casting, in which the molten metal is poured into a matrix, composed of a special material called foundry earth, previously carved in negative on a wooden model of the statue. Once the piece is solidified, it is finished, chiselled and polished, until the final result is obtained.
The statue can be exhibited both indoors and outdoors. The statue is colored with paints that allow it to resist being outside. Bronze, being a living material, over the years (if exposed to the outside) tends to become dark: this characteristic represents the beauty of bronze and gives it a unique look.
