Wooden egg heavenly background Our Lady of Kazanskaya 20 cm. This Russian painted egg depicts the Madonna of Kazanskaya, also known as Odigitria, together with the Baby Jesus standing, in an upright position, with his right hand blessing, while the left is hidden by the folds of the dress. The Mother of God is depicted up to her shoulders, with her head slightly bowed towards the Baby Jesus in a gesture of tenderness. All hand painted on gold leaf which highlights all the details of the decorations and halos. The maximum height is 18 cm, while the measurements of the egg are 10X7.5 cm. Made in Russia and hand painted.
