Feodorovskaya Icon of the Mother of God painted 20x16 cm with riza.
This Russian-style icon depicts the local version of the Vladimir icon, according to the legend that it appeared in Kostroma in 1239 near a monastery. The orthodox icon is made in Poland, hand painted on wood and decorated with a hand-beaten riza which protects the item from blackening over time. The Feodorovskaya icon may differ slightly due to the high craftsmanship. It includes a certificate of guarantee and its history.
