Our Lady of Blogoslawiona icon made in a Russian style 31X26 cm. It was made using traditional techniques, hand painted by Polish artists.In this icon, the Madonna represented is part of the 'Tenderness' series. Jesus touches the face of the Madonna in a delicate way, as if it were a sign of affection. The Madonna's face expresses affection towards her son but, at the same time, it expresses sadness, as if she knows the fate that awaits her son and how much pain he will have to face.This reproduction of an ancient icon is painted and hammered by hand according to a method handed down in the Russian style over the centuries by a limited number of Polish artists.The riza is placed on a modern, entirely hand-painted background on a wooden table, and is worked in silver-plated copper. It is created with traditional techniques in relief, and this peculiarity also makes it pleasant to the touch, and is hand-glazed with Schauer enamel.The Blogoslawiona icon is delivered with the certificate of guarantee and on the back there is a metal hook to hang it.
