Holyart cenaculum sweet red mass wine. Holyart Sacramental Wine, produced by a Sicilian winery in Marsala, in a 1-liter format.
The Sacramental Wine for the Holy Mass is distinguished by its intense ruby red color and its sweet, soft, full-bodied and pleasantly tannic taste, guaranteeing high quality and absolute authenticity. Produced, bottled and sealed according to the precepts of Canon Law, which in Chapter 1, Art. 3, Canon 924 establishes: ''Vinum debet esse naturale ex genimine vitis et non corruptum'', or that the wine must be natural, obtained from the fruit of the vine and not altered.
For this reason, the Mass wine must meet specific requirements:
Natural: it must contain exclusively grapes, without additives that would compromise its validity in the Sacrament.
Of the fruit of the vine: it must derive solely from the bunches produced by the vine, without the addition of other substances.
-
Unaltered: it must be in perfect condition, free from defects such as spiking, acescence, cork odor or mold.
To guarantee this authenticity, the wine intended for the Eucharistic celebration is subjected to periodic tests on selected samples by the Director of the Liturgical Office of the Diocese of Mazara del Vallo, who certifies its authenticity and suitability for sacramental use, ensuring compliance with all canonical provisions.
Authorization of the Customs Agency for the marking of alcoholic products: Cenaculum Wine bears the typical "band" State marking, issued by the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato Italiano.
Characteristics
Cenaculum Wine is produced with selected grapes from Sicily, chosen to guarantee a high alcohol content that ensures stability over time, even after the bottle has been opened. This characteristic allows for better resistance to long journeys and climate variations. Its high alcohol content, combined with the density of its flavors, recalls the type of wine produced at the time of Christ, notoriously more full-bodied.
Below is the complete technical sheet:

Cenaculum Wine can reach the altar only after a rigorous and meticulously controlled production process, from winemaking to bottling. The winemaker carefully follows each stage of the process, guaranteeing the high quality of the product.
The Liturgical Office of the Diocese of Mazara del Vallo supervises the final control: at the end of the production cycle, the large wine vessels are sealed by the Curia. Each bottling batch is opened in the presence of the Director of the Liturgical Office, who is the only one authorized to remove the seal and supervise the tapping of the wine, the filling of the bottles and the subsequent final sealing.
Cenaculum Wine scrupulously respects all the requirements of Canon Law, in full coherence with the provisions of the Church.
The meaning of Wine in the Eucharist
During the Last Supper, Jesus institutes the sacrament of the Eucharist and, taking the cup, pronounces these words: ''Drink from it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins'' (Mt 26:27-28).
The same gesture of Jesus is repeated by the priest on the altar during the Mass and, once consecrated, the wine becomes the Blood of Christ, the blood poured out on the cross for the salvation of humanity.
In the rite of the Eucharist, even in small quantities, natural wine is a symbol, sign and essence and cannot be replaced by other spirits or similar products.
The sale of alcoholic beverages is permitted only to adults.
