Nativity scene set. Complete nativity set with 25 figurines (18 cm - 7 inc high) hand painted with manger.
All manger and figurines are made of terracotta clay.
The figurines are hand-made and -painted on an initial trunk dressed in terracotta leafs.
They are then modeled into a real statue and hand-painted with acrylic colors for ceramic painting.
Lastly the figurines undergo an ageing treatment.
The manger may be lit up by plugging it in with electric power.
It will generate an inner cosy light granting the nativity a magic atmosphere.

This line of nativity sets is produced in Deruta, Italy, a small town in Umbria famous for its artistic creation in terracotta and for the high materials and working processes quality standards.
The clay is hand-worked and painted by local expert artisans.
The craftsmanship and small retouching make each item a unique piece.
