Pacher's Madonna 52cm, sitting, in natural Valgardena wood.
The original of this statue is kept in the Franciscan church of Salzburg. The master sculptor is Michael Pacher from Brunico (Alto Adige) and the statue dates back to 1470.
Natural finish of the statue: the finished sculpture isn't coated with any type of wax, suitable for those who would like to apply a further treatment.
This statue in maple wood is hand made by the Valgardena artisans, following the local artistic tradition.
