Bronze Angel Statue with Flowers in Hand 46 cm for OUTDOORS.
Sculpture of excellent workmanship created by an Italian company valued in the working of bronze and operating in the field of cemetery items.Funeral statue made through the lost wax casting. A complex technique that involves a great skill on the part of the artist. The outdoor bronze figure and all its details is modeled on the core in the refractory earth. The wax is covered by a layer of refractory material, which creates the so-called outer shape or hood, provided with pouring channels to let out both the wax and the fume vapors plus an opening for the introduction of the bronze. The block is fired (400-500 °). The wax melts out of the drains and leaves an empty space between the inner core and the outer form. In this cavity the liquid bronze is poured which then solidifies and takes the shape of the figure modeled in the wax. It is allowed to cool. The external form is broken and finally the bronze statue emerges. We then move on to the finishing phase, which consists in eliminating metal smears, smoothing the surface and engraving details. With this procedure, only unique specimens are obtained, given the ineluctable loss of the wax model and the clay coating. The angel statue can be exhibited both indoors and outdoors. The statue is colored with paints that allow it to resist even outside. Bronze, being a living material, over the years (if exposed to the outside element) tends to become dark: this characteristic represents the beauty of bronze, which with the advancement of time gives this product connotations precious and unique.
