Bronze Pope statue of exquisite workmanship made by an Italian foundry specialized in the casting of bronze and in the creation of funerary artifacts.Statue of Pope John XXIII created with the technique of lost wax casting in which the sculpture is modeled on a clay core with wax and then covered with a layer of clay and refractory earth. everything is overheated, so that the wax becomes liquid and can thus escape from the shape. Subsequently, in the space left empty by the wax, one proceeds to the casting of the bronze and solidified, to the extraction of the piece that is finally subjected to procedures of finishing, polishing.With this procedure, only unique statutes are obtained, considering the ineluctable loss of the wax model, with a terracotta core, and the breaking of the clay coating.The bronze statue can be exhibited both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor bronze statue is colored with paints that allow it to resist even the outside elements. Bronze, being a living material, over the years (if exposed to the outside) tends to become dark: this characteristic represents the beauty of bronze.
