Our Lady of Carmine Bronze Statue 110 cm for OUTDOORS.Bronze statue of fine creation, made by an Italian company expert in the casting of bronze and in the production of funerary items.The sculptural technique used for this statue of the Madonna del Carmelo is lost wax casting known and used since ancient times.In this process the molten metal is poured into a cavity left free by a model coated with a wax layer meticulously finished and made with a terracotta core. The whole is covered with a layer of refractory material until it has a fairly large shape provided with pouring holes, breathing holes and those through which the wax, subjected to heat, will escape. After the bronze has been cooled, the sculpture is freed from the casting cast and from the network of fusion channels, cleaned and finally finished and chiseled.With this procedure, only unique statues are produced, since the loss of the wax model and the clay coating is inevitable.The Our Lady of Carmine statue can be exhibited both indoors and outdoors. The statue is colored with paints that allow it to resist even outside. Bronze, being a living material, over the years (if exposed to the outside) tends to become dark: this characteristic represents the beauty of bronze and gives it a unique look with time.
