Sculpture of excellent workmanship, made by an Italian foundry specialized in the casting of bronze and in the creation of funerary works of art.The technique used is that of lost wax casting, which has its roots in very ancient times and consists in making a wax model, with a clay core, then covered with clay. From the mold obtained, through the holes in the clay the wax is let out by heating it in the baking oven and, subsequently, the molten bronze is poured into the empty space left by the wax. After it has cooled, the outer mold is removed and the result will be identical to the wax model, ready to be subjected to sanding and final finishing.With this procedure, only unique outdoor statues are produced, since the loss of the wax model and of the clay coating is inescapable.The bronze angel statue can be exhibited both indoors and outdoors. The angel statue is colored with paints that allow it to resist even outside. Bronze, being a living material, over the years (if exposed to the outside) tends to become dark: this characteristic represents the beauty of bronze, which with the advancement of time gives it a unique look.
