Technique performed by modeling, on a clay core, the sculpture with wax, and then covering it with a thin layer of foundry sand. After the mold is baked in the oven, the wax melts and comes out of specially made openings. In the voids left by the wax the molten bronze is poured, which fills them completely, taking their form. The bronze is solidified, the outer layer of clay is broken and the sculpture appears, which is subjected to procedures for the elimination of metal smears, finishing and polishing.With this procedure, only unique statues are produced, since the loss of the wax model and the clay coating is unavoidable.The Jesus bronze statue can be exhibited both indoors and outdoors. The statue is colored with paints that allow it to resist even outside.
