Christ the Savior Bronze Statue 60 cm with Green Mantle for OUTDOORS.Sculpture of high quality made by an Italian company appreciated in the working of bronze and active in the sector of funeral items. Bronze statue of Christ the Savior made with the technique of lost wax casting The most classic casting technique practiced since the VI century BC which consists in making a model prepared in wax over a clay core supported by an iron armor. The form is covered by a further layer of earth and has channels for the outflow of wax and fusion gases. When it is cooked in the oven, the heat consolidates the clay and melts the wax that comes out of the grooves leaving the space free for casting in bronze. The casting is carried out by means of crucibles, in this way the bronze fills the impression left by the wax reproducing the model to perfection. After cooling the mold is broken freeing the metal statue which is now ready for a final finishing job, elimination of metal smears, smoothing and sanding.With this procedure, only unique specimens are obtained, given the ineluctable loss of the wax model and the clay coating.The Jesus Christ statue can be exhibited both indoors and outdoors. The statue is colored with paints that allow it to resist even outside. Bronze, being a living material, over the years (if exposed to the outside) tends to become dark: this characteristic represents the beauty of bronze.
