High quality sculpture made by an Italian company specialized in bronze working and active in the cemetery items sector.The technique used is that of lost wax casting in which the sculpture is waxed meticulously, on a clay core, and covered with a layer of refractory material. This block is subjected to firing so that the wax melts out of the drains and leaves an inner cavity between the inner and outer form, in which the cast bronze will then be poured taking its shape. After cooling, the melted sculpture now freed from the refractory material is ready to undergo finishing procedures, elimination of metal smears, smoothing and sanding.With this procedure, only unique statues are obtained, given the loss of the wax model and the clay coating.The bronze statue can be exhibited both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor woman in prayer statue is colored with paints that allow it to resist even outside. Bronze, being a living material, over the years (if exposed to the outside) tends to become dark: this characteristic represents the beauty of bronze, which with the advancement of time gives this product its unique look.
