Creation of excellent workmanship made by an Italian company specialized in bronze funerary works.The casting technique used for the representation of this angel in prayer is that of lost wax. Process known since antiquity in which a wax model is prepared, with a terracotta core, which is covered by a ceramic casing and then dissolved in an oven thus generating a cavity that will be filled by the molten metal. After the bronze has cooled and solidified, the outer layer of clay is broken and the extracted sculpture is subjected to finishing, smoothing and polishing processes.With this procedure, only unique statues are obtained, due to the inexorable loss of the wax model and the clay coating.The bronze angel statue can be exhibited both indoors and outdoors. The statue is colored with paints that allow it to resist even outside. Bronze, being a living material, over the years (if exposed to the outside) tends to become dark: this characteristic represents the beauty of bronze, which with the advancement of time gives it a special look.
