Thurible and boat with spoon in nickel-plated brass

This is an amazing carving of a statue of Mary, Virgin of Altotting. I did some research and discovered that this statue is in the Shrine of Our Lady of Altotting, also known as the Chapel of Grace. It is the national shrine of Bavaria dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is a Black Madonna and is simply beautiful! The colors and the painting on the statue I received is just perfect and represents the original statue. Thank you for offering it. John Cahill
