Saint Florian of Lorch

A wooden statue of Saint Florian, here depicted with a jug of water. In fact, according to the tradition, the saint extinguished a fire using only one bucket of water. He is the patron of firemen. This statue is very detailed and hand-painted, the use of oil paints reveals the veining typical of natural wood.
