The embroidery is made by expert tailors working with a Jacquard loom that allows the use of 48 threads rather than the traditional 24, resulting in a much more detailed design.
Elegant cover with lined insides that make it an extremely refined item.

JOHN C.3/2/2024This is a very beautiful and spiritual depiction in wood of the Pieta (Mary and the dead Jesus). The facial expressions on both Mary and Jesus are so realistic and perfectly represent the agony of Jesus and the sorrow of his mother, Mary. The painting of the statue is perfect too. Compared to other depictions of Michaelangelo's famous statue, this one is unique in its composition. I highly recommend it. John Cahill
