Russian-style icon produced in Poland and hand painted with tempera on wood and coated with riza, an alloy of silver and copper, hand beaten which doesn't allow the icon to blacken over time. According to legend, in 1579 the Icon manifested itself in a girl's dream indicating its location, after its discovery it was taken to the Greek church in Kazan, which became famous for the miracles connected to it.
