Hand-painted wooden egg Christ Pantocrator on a cream background 30cm.This iconographic egg was hand painted by expert Russian painters specializing in freehand painting from the miniature school. It depicts Christ Pantocrator and two angels at the sides. The total height is 27 cm, while the egg measures 16X13 cm. All the images depicted were painted using the gold leaf technique which brings out the most particular details from the halos to the decorations around the image, to the base of the pedestal up to the features of the faces defined freehand. Made in Russia and hand painted.
