In effect, two angels at the sides of Mary's face show the instruments of the Passion of Christ. Jesus looks scared when he turns to look at them and with his hands he holds tight the Virgin's right hand while one of his sandals falls from his foot.
This icon is celebrated on the 13th of august and on the 6th Sunday of Easter.
