In Russia this sacred image showed its miraculous powers in Moscow in the XVIII century in the home of a parishioner of the church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Palasach.
He donated the icon to the church under precise directions he received while dreaming. In 1812 after the church had been devastated by the French, the icon was found again and worshipped, and it allowed the sick and the wounded to heal and it gave prodigies in this difficult period.
