Modern Russian double-faced painted arched icon with the Holy Trinity and Madonna and Child 30x25 cm. This modern Russian icon has a special shape. It is made in an arch and shows two different icons on its two sides: the Holy Trinity on one side and the Madonna and Child on the other.The Madonna and Child are wrapped in a tender embrace, where you can see the glitter and golden details corresponding to the halos and some of the edges of the robes.On the side of the representation of the Holy Trinity you can see the Son sitting at the right hand of the Father, holding the Holy Scriptures with one hand and blessing with the other, just as the Father does. In the middle of the two characters, the globe with a cross above representing the saving action of the Lord on earth and above, in heaven, the Holy Spirit in the form of a Dove.
