The technique consists in gluing a canvas onto the wooden tablet, in this case linden wood, spreading various layers of plaster and finally applying the colors starting from the darkest to the lightest. The light is represented with gold according to the tradition of Byzantine art.Christ Pantocrator, also called the Savior, portrays himself in a red robe and a blue cloak, with his left hand he holds the closed book, while with his right he blesses.The icon has a size of 70x50 cm and a thickness of approximately 2 cm. On the back of the icon, there is both a technical data sheet with a small illustration and the certification of a hand-made item.
