The religious icon depicts Christ Pantocrator in its accentuated and prominent features on his face with impassive expression and powerful body to represent an immense contained energy. The indication of Christ as the Savior appears in Greek under the obligatory initials of his name: IC XP Jesus Christ. The icon was kept in the Serbian monastery of Chilandari and dates back to the Renaissance period of the Paleologhi, XII century. He who is represented there does not indicate so much the almighty Judge as the Christ Wisdom and light of the world who, charged with a serene and peaceful strength, scrutinizes and illuminates every heart without excluding anyone from the benevolence of his gaze. The sealed book adorned with precious stones indicates that the Judgment has not yet taken place and symbolically conveys the message of the One who will open it. The delicate movement of the hand, which is also luminous, is both an invitation and a blessing: while you have the light, believe in the light, to become children of the light. The icon here of Christ the Savior Pantocrator is hand-painted in Romania, in a Romanian style, following the traditional iconographic techniques. It is delivered in a blue box with satin interior and includes a certificate of guarantee.
