The icons of Christ occupy the main place both in the Orthodox temple and in the house of every believer. The Christ Pantocrator is represented in half figure with an open book on the left and in the act of blessing with the right. It is characterized by the nimbus with the cross in which the letters ON stand out - he who they are - (Exodus 3,13-14). The brown color of the tunic symbolizes earthly nature, humanity; the blue of the mantle its divine nature.
