This beautiful Pananassa icon is madeo of solid wood, designed and built according to ancient Russian techniques with transverse beams, which help prevent the curvature of the wood over time. The orthodox icon is hand colored through the mixed technique of painting and decoupage. The halos are painted with various shades of gold, similar to pure gold.
