Our Lady of Jerusalem icon Russian painted decoupage. This beautiful religious icon measures 42x30 cm.
The orthodox Our Lady of Jerusalem icon is created on solid wood built according to the classic Russian technique that uses transverse beams, to prevent the curvature of the wood over time. The religious icon is hand-painted using a mixed technique of painting and decoupage and the halos are painted with various shades of gold, similar to pure gold.

Abbildung und erhaltenes Produkt stimmen im Großen und Ganzen überein - in natura ist sie schöner, weil dann erst die vielen Details richtig zur Geltung kommen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Trotz der Maßangaben (30x40 cm) war ich von der Größe doch etwas (angenehm) überrascht, als ich sie dann in den Händen hielt. Die Farbkombination finde ich sehr ansprechend außergewöhnlich. Ich habe die Ikone als Hochzeitsgeschenk gekauft und das Paar war ebenfalls sehr angetan.
