The icon, surrounded by a simple red frame, depicts Jesus immersed in water with the Baptist touching his head. Around them is only the landscape, with scattered vegetation and the bends of the Jordan River.The panel belongs to the Tsarist period of the 19th century and made on levkas wood and hand painted with egg tempera. The Baptism of Christ icon is delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
