Antique Russian orthodox brass and enamel crucifix, dated XIX century, 34.7x17 cm.
This is a typical Russian Cross with three horizontal crossbeams and the lowest one slanted to remind that "The Cross is a Scale of Justice". On the lowest slanted crossbeam is depicted the Jerusalem old city. Christ the Savior is represented on the upper part of the cross with the right hand blessing and world on the left one.
