In the central part the crucifixion is depicted on a patriarchal cross with feasts and saints.On the sides are depicted: Our Lady Joy of all the afflicted, Selected Saints, Old Testament Trinity, Acheropita, San Nicola da Myta, Crucifix, Selected Saints, Sant'Atipa, Crucifixion with enamels, Quirico and Giulitta and saints in enamels, Descent to the the underworld, Mother of God Feodorovskaja, Selected Saints, Quirico and Giulitta and saints. These bronzes are travel icons and became widespread thanks to mass production, initially with copper and bronze then with silver and brass. Bronzes became widespread because at the time they had some advantages compared to the wooden icon: they were affordable, had a modest weight and were easy to transport. The icon comes from central Russia and collects bronzes dating from the 18th to the 19th century.The icon is made of levkas wood with egg tempera.
