The image conveys only the essence of the event of the Annunciation. One of the oldest known images regarding this theme is the Ustiug Annunciation, painted in the first half of the 12th century in Novgorod. It was made in the 19th century and comes from Greece. The technique consists of egg tempera on a lime wood panel.Measures 30x22 cm. This icon is shipped together with a box set and an appraisal carried out by an expert.
