Remnant of an ancient polyptych with a cusp in Byzantine style, this Rejoice icon can always be carried with you thanks to its reduced size and weight.The summit scene depicts the scene of the Hymn to the Virgin 'In You All Creations Rejoice' in which angels, saints, prophets and all men gather around the Virgin, source of joy for all creation. Under this scene there are four small pictures with small reproductions of Marian icons and cities in the background. In the frame between the four scenes we can still see some engraved words.This In Thee Rejoices icon from Moscow measures 15x8.7 cm and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and export document.
