Red glass rosary 6mm Ghirelli Sorrowful Mysteries in English.Italian rosary composed of 5 tens of 6 mm round red glass beads, divided by unique pater beads made up of artistic ancient copper tiles containing well-kept antique silver bas-reliefs depicting 4 of the 5 Sorrowful Mysteries, namely the Flagellation of Christ, the Transport of the Cross, the Crowning of Thorns and the Crucifixion and Death of Christ. The centerpiece medal consists of a copper plate with a bas-relief in antique silver, which shows the missing Mystery, in particular the Agony of Christ in the garden of olives. Each of these artistic panels, including the cross, shows on one side the graphic representation and on the other the description in letters. Another noteworthy detail is certainly the original superimposition of two elements in different finishes, one in antique silver and the other in antique copper, used to compose the crucifix. The style of the rosary as a whole is certainly contemporary and the quality of the object is underlined by the signature of the historic Ghirelli family which can be seen in an exclusive silver ingot.
