Our Lady of Fatima DVD.
Every year, many Christians from all over the world go to Fatima, a small town in Portugal. There they gather to pray God and to remember the children who first announced the miracle of Our Lady of Fatima. A very loved film that faithfully recreates the events that in 1917 brought hope and a new religious ardor into a world devastated by the war. It is the story of three young farmers and their vision: a woman surrounded by a halo of light who spoke words of faith and a prophecy. They had to face skepticism and torment before being believed and then they were finally accepted by the multitudes of faithful attracted by the promise of a miracle. Director John Brahm cleverly mixes narrative simplicity and spectacular images that are effectively supported by the soundtrack of Max Steiner that obtained an Oscar nomination.
Duration: 98 minutes. Audio: Italian, English, Subtitles: Portuguese, Italian.
