Via Dolorosa 5th station pendant made of golden alloy, from the workshop famous for working for the Vatican and for having forged the bronze stations along the Via Crucis in the Holy Land. This pendant depicts the fifth station of the Via Crucis, in which we see a gesture of goodness made by a man towards Christ, suffering. Simon of Cyrene saw Jesus, while he was carrying the cross, and he felt the desire to share his pain and to help him carry his burden. Nobody forced him to do such a gesture and there was no reward, but he did it because he felt he wanted to do it. He became an example of how we can help people in need by trying to share the burden they are carrying. The Via Dolorosa is the road made by Christ after being condemned by the people to death. The cross was given to him and he carried it along this road for about a kilometer. When he arrived to the spot, nails were hammered into his flesh and the cross was raised with him attached. He sacrificed himself to save the souls of all, both those who loved him and those who despised him, and his death became a symbol of God's mercy and piety.By purchasing this Way of the Cross pendant necklace, you will contribute to the preservation of the heritage of the Holy Land. This Via Crucis medal is 2.2cm high and 2cm wide. Made in Italy by skilled artisans.
