Via Crucis pendant Fourteenth Station Burial brass-plated

Religious pendant depicting the fourteenth station, in which Christ was buried. It is made of brass-plated alloy 2.2X2 cm.According to tradition, the Via Dolorosa is the path that Jesus made up to the place where he was crucified. The people chose between him and Barabbas, but they preferred to condemn Christ to death rather than the latter. He walked with a cross for about a kilometer uphill in front of everyone feeling the contempt of those who hated him and who wanted to see him dead. Among those who hated him, however, there were also those who loved him and who suffered from the imminent loss. Jesus had the strength to console those people even when exhausted. Arriving at the place of his death he was crucified and became a symbol of mercy and forgiveness, saving the souls of all.In the fourteenth station we see the burial of Christ which, even if he was humiliated with the crucifixion, was done with all due honors.
