The Church of the Flagellation is a place that, according to tradition, is built where Christ was scourged by soldiers before starting the Sorrowful Way. Richard B.9/13/2024It’s a stunning piece of art. It has some heft to it, being solid bronze, so make sure you have somewhere to hang where it can be anchored into the wall with a sturdy hook. It’s one I plan to pass on to my kids and hope they will pass on to theirs.
