The technique:The Aurea line by Bottega Tifernate stands out for its high-quality artistic works created through the patented technique of pictography, created by maestro Stefano Lazzari. This method allows the creation of reproductions that maintain all the aesthetic qualities of an authentic painting. Years of dedicated research and study in the field of painting and restoration have enabled the Città di Castello workshop to faithfully restore the methods and recipes that the Renaissance masters applied in their creations on fresco, panel and canvas. For the frescoes, the same type of lime used by Giotto is used, a pure lime, free of salts and alkalis that could damage the work over time. The technique used is the "fresco" technique with gold leaf intervention, which allows the colors to blend perfectly with the lime pigment during drying, thus ensuring a long-lasting and harmonious integration. The pigments used are oxide-based, which ensures that the intensity of the color remains unchanged over time.
The work:In the painting, the marriage of Mary and Joseph is depicted at the center of the scene, with a priest joining their hands during the ceremony. On the left, according to iconographic tradition, there is a group of women and on the right a group of men, including one who breaks a stick, symbol of the selection of the suitor. The characters are arranged in a natural and varied way. This arrangement is made visible by the raised viewpoint that allows you to clearly observe their placement on the floor slab, forming a semicircle that balances the convex architecture of the background. The use of colors is intense and detailed, with a range of shades that enhances the plasticity and warm atmosphere of the painting, marking a step by Raphael towards modernity. Each painting comes with a certificate of provenance inside the package, adding value to the purchase. A metal support and a hook on the back make the work versatile, suitable both as a decorative element for the wall and for the table.Author of the original work: Raffaello Sanzio.Title of the original work: Sposalizio della Vergine.
