The technique:The Aurea line by Bottega Tifernate stands out for its high-quality artistic works created through the patented technique of pictography, created by master Stefano Lazzari. This method allows the creation of reproductions that maintain all the aesthetic qualities of an authentic painting. Years of dedicated research and study in the field of painting and restoration have enabled the Città di Castello workshop to faithfully restore the methods and recipes that the Renaissance masters applied in their creations on fresco, panel and canvas. For the frescoes, the same type of lime used by Giotto is used, a pure lime, free of salts and alkalis that could damage the work over time. The technique used is the "fresco" one with gold leaf intervention, which allows the colors to blend perfectly with the lime pigment during drying, thus ensuring a long-lasting and harmonious integration. The pigments used are oxide-based, which ensures that the intensity of the color remains unchanged over time.
The work:The figures of the fresco are represented in a sober and simplified way, with delicate and soft colors, although more opaque and muted than Angelico's works on wood. In this context, the intense plasticity of the shapes and colors, inspired by Masaccio, generates a vivid sense of abstraction by contrast. Each item comes with a certificate of origin. A hook on the back together with a separate metal support make the work suitable as a decorative element both for the wall and for the table.
