Creation of Adam Bottega Tifernate essential detail 9x12 cm Michelangelo. Detail of the famous fresco by Michelangelo called ''The Creation of Adam'', this painting belongs to the Linea Aurea by Bottega Tifernate and depicts the detail of the meeting between the finger of God reaching out towards Adam and the hand of man. It measures 9 cm in height and 12 cm in width. Each piece of the Aurea line is an exclusive work of art, created and finished by hand by qualified painters with specialized academic training.
The technique:
The Aurea line by Bottega Tifernate stands out for its high-quality artistic works created through the patented technique of pictography, created by master Stefano Lazzari. This method allows the creation of reproductions that maintain all the aesthetic qualities of an authentic painting. Years of dedicated research and study in the field of painting and restoration have enabled the Città di Castello workshop to faithfully restore the methods and recipes that the Renaissance masters applied in their creations on fresco, panel and canvas. For the frescoes, the same type of lime used by Giotto is used, a pure lime, free of salts and alkalis that could damage the work over time. The technique used is the "fresco" one with gold leaf intervention, which allows the colors to blend perfectly with the lime pigment during drying, thus ensuring a long-lasting and harmonious integration. The pigments used are oxide-based, which ensures that the intensity of the color remains unchanged over time.
The work:In the work, it is noteworthy to note that God's finger is constantly stretched to the maximum, while Adam's finger shows a contraction of the last phalanx. This detail symbolizes the constant presence of God, but also emphasizes that it is up to man to choose to seek him. If he wishes, Adam can extend his finger to touch God's; otherwise, he can spend his life without ever doing so. The contracted phalanx of Adam's finger therefore symbolizes the concept of free will. The painting comes with a certificate of origin inside the package, adding value to the purchase. A metal support and a hook on the back make the work suitable both as a decorative element for the wall and for the table.
