The monstrance ''St. Remy'' is made of brass, and through a chemical process called galvanization, the monstrance is covered with a layer of 24-karat gold. Note the extreme attention to detail starting from the base, where there is the alternation between parts in relief and smooth, inlaid with natural stones (Amethyst, Lapis Lazuli, Aventurine, and Garnet), as for the rest of the monstrance upwards up to the glass lunette where the Ostia Magna is placed. It is precisely from the luna that these rays of light depart and accompany all sides of the cross, finished and painted with colors typical of Hispanic motifs.Piece of estimated value, and high symbolic importance.
