Romanesque crucifix, antique gold Valgardena wood 65cm
The Corpus is in Romanesque style and it's a faithful reproduction of the original, kept in the National Bavarian Museum of Munich, dating back to 1120-1130.
Old antique gold finish: the painted statue is made to look antique and then coated with gold leaf.
Sculpture in maple wood, hand made by the Valgardena craftsmen following the local artistic tradition.
These artisans sculpt the Alps wood with great skills and ability. This is a fine article of high quality.
