Wooden egg Madonna Vladimirskaya painted on a cream background 25 cm. The iconographic egg depicts Our Lady of Vladimirskaya holding Baby Jesus in her arms, the peculiarity of this icon is precisely the love it transmits, that is, Baby Jesus tenderly embracing his mother demonstrating an indissoluble bond. The wooden egg is hand painted by expert Russian painters specialized in freehand painting of the miniature school, the gold leaf technique allows us to highlight details that give light and value to the iconographic egg, i.e. the halos and decorations around the image and to the pedestal.
