Potter figurine for Neapolitan Nativity, with lights measuring 10cm.
This Nativity figurine is handmade in Naples, the capital of the Italian Nativity tradition, the light will activate when you plug to a 220V socket.
Every character is made of terracotta and dressed with fabric which is then treated and tailored.
The artisan nature of the product makes each character different from the others and therefore unique.

Thomas W.8/20/2021Eine sehr schöne Figur, Mutter mit Kind, rührt irgendwie an. Das einzige, was an dieser Figur schlecht ist, ist der Titel: Zigeunerin. Für mich ist es keine Zigeunerin, sondern nur eine dunkelhäutige Frau. Wahrscheinlich setze ich sie in mein Beduinen-Lager. Denkbar ist aber auch der Einsatz als ganz normale Stadtbewohnerin. Für den Beduinen spricht allerdings, dass ich ja auch schon einen dunkelhäutigen Näher im Zelt habe, da wäre das die perfekte Familienergänzung.
