Fisherman with stall, 13 cm Angela Tripi.
Between all the market stalls and stands there is his, of an elderly fishmonger who looks tired and day dreaming while holding a small fish ready to be wrapped and sold.
All the statues are handmade, in terracotta and cloth, then carefully hand painted. It is a beautiful work of art made with skill and attention at Angela Tripi's artistic workshop. Normally, the statues of the traditional nativity scene, for example the Neapolitan one, are made with a skeleton made with fabrics and with the ends in terracotta (the head, hands and feet). The nativity statues of the artist Angela Tripi instead have completely formed bodies: they are modeled naked and subsequently dressed with fabrics and small jewels. In her works, the artist tells a story: each nativity figure is depicted in a moment of their life, allowing us to understand the existence of a before and after. Angela Tripi succeeds in giving each character an amazing realism, never seen before and unrepeatable: her works are one of a kind. Adapted for a 13 cm nativity set. CHARACTERS MAY DIFFER FROM THE PHOTO AS EVERY SCULPTURE IS A UNIQUE PIECE, CHOICE MADE BY THE ARTIST.
