This beautiful solid wood Russian orthodox icon is created using an ancient Russian technique of transverse beams, which prevent the curvature of the wood over time. This handcrafted Kikskaia icon has been created with a mix technique of paint and decoupage. The halos are painted with fine colors tending to pure gold.
