It depicts the typical snowy Scandinavian countryside. The origin of the Christmas balls is around the middle of the nineteenth century. In a small village in northern France there was a drought, they remained without the apples with which they traditionally adorned the Christmas tree. An artisan of the glass of the village had the thought to create glass balls and color them, to make up for the lack of apples and not to deprive the children of the joy of a beautiful Christmas tree.
